What a fabulous summer holiday period we just experienced on Lord Howe! We were lucky enough to dive with some long-term returning families, with whom it's always a pleasure to dive and share stories. We have also had the opportunity to host new guests, we thank you for choosing Dive Lord Howe and we can't wait to see you back again next year!
With all our crew back on island, we kick-started the season with some intense training with Aaron Foster from Forward Thinking Education. We take the safety of our divers very seriously, and Aaron was an invaluable asset in helping us brush up on our First Aid, CPR and Advanced Resuscitation skills. While the scenarios we responded to during training are a worst case situation, thanks to Aaron, you can be sure you're diving in very safe, capable hands with our crew.
We've had a great winter, recharging and preparing for the upcoming season! Our doors will be opening on 1st September, we look forward to welcoming you to Lord Howe soon!
With increased demand for diving on the island we have decided to expand so that we can cater for all experience levels and expectations.
"Sea Wolf" was pre loved by South West Rocks Dive Centre, and will primarily service our student divers and researchers that visit the island. Once we have made a few adjustments, she will be shipped to the island via Birdon's Island Trader ready for the upcoming season.
We hope you are all faring well during these uncertain times. The borders to Lord Howe Island still remain closed, however the benefits are that we are COVID free and enjoying some down time on our World Heritage listed island.
We hope to see you all back on the island soon, so you too can enjoy this wonderful form of isolation.
