Job Title: PADI Divemaster Intern

• Full Time Exchange Programme (See inclusions)
• 40 hours per week for approximately 18 weeks: 15SEP16 – 31JAN17 or 01FEB17 – 15JUN17
• Remote location

We are looking for a PADI Divemaster Intern for our small business on World Heritage listed Lord Howe Island. Applicants should be passionate about SCUBA diving and the environment, physically fit and have a friendly disposition. Applicants should also be prepared for living on a remote island.

The intern will report to Aaron and Lisa Ralph, business owners as well as their OWSI mentor. Please refer to the Job Description for a list of responsibilities, skills and experience required (to be emailed on request).

Although this is an unpaid position, please see a list of inclusions:

• Return flights from SYD/BNE to LDH
• Transfers to and from LDH Airport
• Accommodation on Lord Howe Island (excluding telephone / internet)
• Dive packs for PADI courses 
• All boat and shore dives
• Use of SCUBA equipment
• Pro Dive Lord Howe Island uniform
• Training, guidance and support

• 10 dives, 1 sunrise dive and 1 night dive (first time this package has been offered!) Dive gear and guide included
• Glorious food prepared by Pinetrees Lodge so you can relax after diving. Food includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and 4-5 course dinners
• 6 nights accommodation (Pay 6, stay for 7 if you book before 31st May 2016)

Pro Dive Lord Howe Island has opened its PADI Divemaster Internship program to applications for the season of 2015-2016. 

The positions available are:

One position from 18th Sep 2015 - 31st Jan 2016

Two positions from 1st Feb 2016 - 31st May 2016

The successful candidates should be passionate about the environment, physically fit and have a friendly disposition.

Pre requisites are:

• Open Water SCUBA Certification
• Drivers Licence
• Boating experience preferred
• CPR and Senior First Aid preferred

The positions are unpaid, with most expenses included. Inclusions are:

• Return flights from Sydney or Brisbane
• Transfers to and from Lord Howe Island Airport
• Accommodation on Lord Howe Island
• All certifications to PADI Divemaster 
• All tuition, training, guidance and support
• Boat and shore dives
• Use of dive equipment
• Pro Dive Lord Howe Island uniform
