Shoulder Season
After a Summer of gorgeous weather, April was a bit of a shock to the system for us out here on Lord Howe. Big southerly systems which just never seemed to dissipate brought plenty of wind and rain, keeping us rugged up and inside some days. But, as we like to say, there's no wind under water!
Despite the adverse conditions on some days, there was still plenty of beautiful diving to be had around the island on the better ones, and we made the most of the quieter days with rest and recovery after another busy school holiday season.
As things start to wind down now that April is over and the shoulder season truly beings, we can't help but give ourselves a pat on the back for absolutely smashing our first full season since the start of COVID. A huge thanks and congratulations to all our amazing crew, guests, and volunteers for making it such a memorable and awesome season!
That's all from us at Dive Lord Howe, we look forward to blowing bubbles with you soon.
